Description:

The Shift Lead position provides support of the management team by leading and managing the store in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager. A Shift Lead opens and closes the store, coaches and develops associates, leads by example through driving top sales and ensuring positive customer experience, meets personal sales goals, and executes visual updates. This position is for an individual who excels in delivering a great client experience. The ideal candidate will show leadership potential and demonstrate the ability to make decisions that benefit the store and the business.

  • Must be 18 Years or older.

Store Manager: This is the perfect position for a professional leader who excels in not only delivering a great client experience, but has an established track record of coaching others to do the same. The successful Store Manager will have been recognized for flawlessly executing brand and operational standards that have produced the highest possible sales volume and maximized profitability opportunities. The successful Store Manager focuses on and enjoys building a positive, productive enthusiastic team driven towards achieving a common goal.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead and manage a store in a motivational and positive manner, to exceed financial goals. Drive sales through utilization of selling techniques (example: Pandora Way of Selling) as well as through product knowledge and merchandising.
  • With support from the District Manager, will recruit, select, hire and train staff, ensuring staff size is sufficient to support the needs of the business.
  • Creates weekly schedules that support the needs of the business. Ensures enough staff is scheduled at appropriate times and assigns roles to specific team members to effectively address both customer-based and non-customer based activities.
  • Manage, utilize and understand reports to best analyze and positively impact productivity and profitability.
  • Review the business and the product ordering process through budgets and a continuous control and handling of all income and costs
  • Provide Team with timely, consistent and regular feedback, both formal and informal. Plan and prioritize daily responsibilities, tasks and staffing according to traffic flow and planning tools (Pandora: effectively leverage CSL role and program as designed). Support a productive and accountable environment.
  • Partner with District Manager as necessary.
  • Maintain a continuous update and styling of the selling floor to optimize sales.
  • Participate in learning and development activities in order to provide optimal customer service.
  • Complete all training activities within established timelines, and coaches associates to do the same.
  • Pandora Store Managers suggest the Pandora Preferred Card to every guest, and coach the associates to do the same.
  • Perform operational duties to run the retail store. These duties include but are not limited to opening/closing, ensuring store security, overseeing safety, training and developing the team, choosing top talent and assisting with escalated customer issues.

Job Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of retail management experience is preferred
  • Experience in selling specialty, luxury and or lifestyle consumer goods is strongly preferred
  • Previous leadership experience as a Store Manager
  • Experience working within a branded concept is preferred
  • Strong recruiting, interviewing, and staffing skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • A passionate and enthusiastic personality
  • Business acumen
  • Experience working with IT systems
  • Clearly demonstrated budgeting, marketing and inventory management experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required. Adherence to assigned work schedule, to clocking in/out accurately and maintaining accurate & updated availability information in the scheduling system (When I Work).
  • Adherence to and enforcement of brand dress code guidelines.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, and bending for most of the day. The employee must be able to lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds.
